Parent/carer and teacher communication
Parent involvement is actively
encouraged at the Queensland Children's Hospital School, and all parents/carers
are encouraged to take an active role in their child's educational program.
Teachers regularly communicate with families and parents/carers are always
welcome to connect with their child’s teachers to discuss learning goals.
Please make contact through the
relevant campus front office, or via (07) 3004 7888. For our students in
inpatient units, parents/carers will have direct access to their child’s
teacher given the service is provided bedside.
Our parents/carers are also encouraged to contact the
school guidance officer directly, to discuss anything of concern.
