Behaviour management

The school’s behaviour management philosophy is outlined in our Responsible Behaviour Plan which is available on our website under the Support and resources tab.

The Responsible Behaviour Plan (RBP) for Students supports students in all settings from Prep to Year 12.  The plan outlines the school’s values, expectations, rules and consequences associated with both positive and negative behaviours in the school setting.  The plan supports the core business of teaching and learning and prioritises student engagement in educational settings by outlining strategies and expectations that encourage positive student engagement.
The QCH School is committed to explicitly teaching our school values and encouraging student participation in strategies that demonstrate these values.  The QCH School values, developed through consultation with staff and students, are respect, trust, integrity, relationships and caring.
These values align with the school motto; Inspire, Believe, Achieve.
