At
Queensland Children’s Hospital School, technology is embedded into lessons.
This creates a pathway for learning which encourages creativity, facilitates
access and engagement and provides opportunities for connection and
collaboration. Together, these enrich a student’s education and give them
skills to reflect and communicate in ways they have not thought
possible.
As part of our STEM program, we offer a variety of digital technologies and resources to support
learning. Some of these resources include:
- Lego Mindstorms EV3, Spike and WeDo 2.0
- Programmable drones
- Humanoid robots
- Spheros
- Beebots
- Ozobots, Probots, Cubelets CG
- Dash and Dots
- Access to coding software such as Scratch, Tynker, Choregraphe CG
- A range of educational apps on our school iPads.
