Extra-curricular

​The Queensland Children’s Hospital School provides a range of curriculum enhancements as well as extra-curricular opportunities for our students. 

School activities, such as the annual Sports Day and ANZAC Ceremonies, are supported by our many external partners, including the Centre for Children's Health Research, Starlight Children's Foundation, Children's Hospital Foundation and the Queensland Conservatorium.

Extra-curricular activities and programs include:

• Excursions with the Centre for Children’s Health Research (CCHR) 

• Dance and movement program (provided by the Starlight Children's Foundation) 

• Juiced TV (facilitated by the Children’s Hospital Foundation) 
• Arts-in-health music program (with the Queensland Conservatorium) 

• QCH School events facilitated in partnership with the Children's Hospital Foundation
