The
Queensland Children's Hospital School (known also as QCHS) and
its regional hospital program partners offer world class educational programs
to school-aged children affected by hospitalisation, including patients and
family members of hospitalised patients across Queensland to ensure educational
continuity for all.
QCH
School offers programs for students from Kindy to Year 12 and includes students
from the state, Catholic and independent sectors. Students at QCHS present with
a range of medical, developmental, behavioural, emotional and mental health
conditions. As leaders in inclusion, differentiation is a strong feature of
every teacher’s practice.

facilitate and retain strong connections between students and their base
schools regarding students’ learning progress, achievements, emotional support
and challenges. Information communication technologies are embedded in our
teaching and learning, with a drive towards online learning across sites.
