The Early Education Program (EEP) is an educational intervention service for children aged 2-5 years in partnership with Act for Kids. QCHS teachers work closely with Act for Kids case managers and therapy team to nurture and support children to learn the skills they need to transition to primary school. Open four days a week, children aged 2 to 5 attend full or half days and are supported by a registered teacher and teacher aide. Children receive intervention specific to their individual needs, integrated into the curriculum.

In 2014, Act for Kids EEP was awarded the Department of Education's Showcase Award for Excellence in Inclusive Education, when the program was partnered with the Royal Children's Hospital School (RCHS). In previous years, the program was a regional winner (2012), and a State finalist (2013).
