Our school

The Queensland Children’s Hospital School (QCHS) is a unique learning environment that caters for student learning and well-being in a vast array of settings.  The variety of classrooms, inpatient units, outpatient units, clinics and alternative programs supported by the school requires that a continuum of formal and informal processes and programs exists to ensure the school community’s needs are supported.
QCHS  are a multi campus school and offer a range of specific purpose programs.
These include:
  • Queensland Children’s Hospital School Junior Campus: Prep to year 4
  • Queensland Children’s Hospital School Senior Campus: Year 5 to year 12 (level 8 of QCH)
  • Herston Campus: Supporting high school students at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
  • Wooloowin Campus: Supporting pre-prep students in conjunction with Act for Kids.
  • Chermside Campus: Adolescent CYMHS Day program North
